Kansas Statewide Homeless Coalition (KSHC) is requesting information regarding pricing and process to complete a Community Needs Assessment for homeless youth and youth facing housing instability ages 16-24 in the state of Kansas. KSHC is looking to understand the needs, experiences, and barriers of homeless and unstably housed youth in Kansas to be used in the development of grants and programs specifically to support this population.
This Request for Information (RFI) is for informational purposes only, and no contract will be awarded as a result. A firm or organization’s response to the RFI—or lack thereof—will have no impact on the evaluation of responses to any subsequent Request for Proposals (RFP) or Invitation to Bid (ITB) released. - Non-profit organizations that routinely execute needs assessments
- Organizations that work with non-profits to conduct assessments and research

- Racial and ethnic disparities in youth homelessness
- LGBTQ+ disparities in youth homelessness

RFI Conference
An optional RFI Conference/Information Session for this RFI will be held on Friday, November 17th from 3:30pm-4:30pm to answer questions from prospective respondents. During the Information Session, KSHC staff will summarize the goals of the RFI, and the information requested. KSHC staff will take questions from prospective respondents and community members during the Information Session. Any answers given at the Information Session are tentative, and final answers will be provided via a Q&A document. A recording of the session will be posted to this website.
